ART'S TREE 1: THE ART PERSPECTIVE STORY PART 1

The Art Perspective's Story
Part 1
March 2020

What was it like being the first human consciousness to stand before the great mountain, Machu Picchu? Whose experience of the mountain held more depth, the first person or the thousandth?  Did the experience of the first peoples condition, add or take away from the experiences of those that followed? How do past experiences affect our perspective?

This is how the Art Perspective began almost ten years ago. I started asking these philosophical questions that also happen to delve deep into biology and psychology.

Would the experience at the mountain-peak boost once the Incas deem it their holy site, build a city in the base of the mountain and commence annual pilgrimages?  Then when a boy becomes a man and by tradition commences his annual climb, how would he feel reaching the exalted site?  Do the thousands of ancestors who also revered your holy site affect your experience?  How much so?  Through what principles of nature?

I also thought of it backwards to see if the future influences the present. Let's say that there were two parties of explorers venturing through the valley and up Machu Picchu.  The first group would only pass through, settling instead in a far off coast. The second group however, would become the first settlers of Machu Picchu. History would call them the first settlers. Generations calling the mountain sacred would praise them as founders to their way of life. Would the feelings aroused in this second group be stronger, as if the voices of their future were calling to them?
This last scenario can easily be related to finding your true love.  If that future lover who will fill you with joy for the rest of your life is actually that stupid, silly fella you just met, then would your mind mark this somehow as significant?

It all sounded just peachy… Until, gorily, the peach got smashed!

What if something terrible happened when the first man set foot on one of nature’s greatest beauties?  Imagine being the very first person arriving at the world’s tallest waterfall. Approaching you would first hear the fall’s crashing waters. The echoing through the jungle's trees makes you uncertain that you are on the right path.  Nearing the fall, the ground’s aroma shifts and negative ions are carried by the breeze into the extremities of your lungs. Reaching the base you see a mist and feel a soft, cool spray.  Then when the trees unveil the marvelous height of the beauty, your heart and all your five senses bloom right open… A love at first site seeing this magnificent waterfall, tall beyond any ever before seen or imagined… But this sweet and euphoric climax following the gradual tease of your sensations only lasts two seconds before a jaguar leaps from the shadows to attack and eat you alive…A torturous experience lasting ten endless minutes of horrible, terrible pain as the black panther maws your legs.  With your face flat on the ground, you slowly daze out seeing your blood stream down to the bottom of the cascade…tainting the water with the hue of your lover’s cheeks and shattering your promise to return to her...
Can trauma this horrifying and painful trigger fear responses in future peoples?  Who would that affect?  Perhaps that man’s lover, his close friends or his family?  It is an instinct for nearly all humans to be afraid of snakes and spiders.  I wondered how long in time and how deeply into our subconscious can trauma or healing influence how we respond to situations…
If these influences are very strong and have natural principles that could be deciphered then how can they be used to elevate our experiences?  Could we become so well rooted to a land that our grandchildren feel anchored touching the soil and harmony from the mere smell of flowers?  There is scientific evidence that suggests this can be true.

This trail of thoughts goes so far…

If these forces are strong then appreciation and faith, used strategically can deepen the rooting of our hearts and heighten the reach of our dreams.

Here is where culture, systems biology and we-ourselves, are both artists and the art.  In mind-bending ways one begins to see the human perspective as a collaborative molding project that each person puts a hand in.  Life’s ongoing impressions color our perspectives. The perspectives influence the stories of who we are. Our stories and perspectives are sowed into the garments of our culture.  Each ancestor’s love adding a unique bead on the mandala of life you'll inherit.
Life is God’s art.  With our freedom to create and choose which perspectives we breathe life into, we’ve joined his artistry.  Perspective makes life art… And this is how the Art Perspective originated…

About the Art’s Tree
Currently you are reading the first ever published Art’s Tree article for the Art Perspective.  The Art’s Tree is our fun, interesting, enriching and original collection of informative essays, fictional stories and interactive projects.  Each month we will release an Art’s Tree article.  These articles help us explore key subjects that bring us closer to the Art Perspective's mission of maturing the knowledge and ethics that will lead to citizen awareness apt for smarter law on health monitoring.
Each year, one or more of our Sci-Fi Blurbs will be extended to become that month’s Tree Article.   Also our VIP Reviews, our Book Reviews and our reviews of Very Important Institutions may get geared up to become the month’s Tree Article.

Do you write stories or essays that inspire people to think about where our health systems are headed?  Do you collect news about health-monitoring? Do you create art that explores how the Spirit, Mind and Body, of the present, past and future interact?  Please reach out, we can’t do this project alone and badly need more collaborators!  Our future depends on you!

The Art Perspective’s website launch is still some years away.  It will consist primarily of two major works.  Article 1: The Associative Process and Article 2: Associative Art.

  About Article 1: Associative Process
The Machu Picchu story is exemplary of what we are to be exploring within the Associative Process. The Associate Process attempts to explain how body, mind and spirit associate themselves between each other.  I am of the opinion that every language and religion uses the term ‘Spirit’ because without the term we cannot understand our own nature or complete a coherent set of Principles on how Psycho-physical Energy behaves.  ‘Spirit’, and ‘ghost’ even, were our ancestors' ways of voicing that past-instincts are inherent in the natures of body and mind. And therefore also how the present affects the future… Through an Associative Process personal experience becomes collective human instinct. It is also the process by which collective human instinct deepens/expands/shapes personal experience.  Thus, in the Associative Process we will study everything that art, science and philosophy has to say about this Process.

About Article 2: Associative Art
Associative Art is then the conscientious use of the Associative Process’ principles.  How do we prepare the future to have the best possible use of the past!  Sounds tricky, right!?  How do we turn our ghosts into the very best possible allies for our great, great grand children?!?!
Should we ‘condition’ our responses to medicines and foods to maximize their healing properties?  Can these ‘conditionings’ improve our lives? Or do our ghosts simply traumatize us, forcing us to act shakily and incoherently… How do we best forgive and let go of trauma?  How do the words in our language and in our popular culture condition us and what can we do about it?  There are many questions and many possible paths to take… So many, that Article 2, Associative Art, will not be completed by myself or my coworkers.  Instead, Associative Art will be an open-format work where scholars and anyone with bright ideas from anywhere in the world, can help build our Collective, Giant Brainstorm that's aiming to take humanity's dreams even further.

Art and yoga (the art of discovering/setting body-mind principles) have been inexhaustibly used to expand humanity's awareness, compassion and devotion for life. However, this task of inspiring compassion in humanity is far from completed. Sadly, it is religiously and systematically procrastinated, left out or deemed unworthy/ineffective by modern measures of progress.
…Technology, along with discoveries about the nature of consciousness, can now change things miraculously for better or dramatically for worse. Let’s prepare to veer this ship onto the right course by investigating and learning!

We want to be there 10 years from now, with over a million followers that will be ready to inspire wiser law and to make morally correct choices. As both pioneers and exporters of health-monitoring technologies, we must ready our community’s co-intelligence (Tom Atlee's Term) to safeguard not only our future but the world’s.

The Art Perspective’s Facebook Page puts together fun, interesting and enriching ideas that will allow us to imagine and navigate where the road of health monitoring could lead.

We must prepare emotionally in order to resist the temptations that we will surely face. And we must learn a lot of new things. Our team’s work delves deep into the sciences and arts that will make most seductive the path to tracking human behaviors and health outcomes. We’ll build up and prep our imaginations for the miracles that are to be promised by those selling future technologies! Technologies which will soon bring us countless ways to improve our lives by using health/behavior tracking!

Yes… Let the utopian-fever take over your body very slowly... Gradual exposure is the only way to build defenses of our immune systems safely.  We must not fall victim to the over-romantisizing of this high-tech, utopian revolution… We still have a little bit of time left... For behind this sun of endless blessings comes a greater evil clawing and rooting itself in failed states first. By 2030-2040 it will begin to happen even in countries with freedom and democracy. Before the world is ready to defend herself, some leaders will fall to the infection and will wish to spread it without fully being aware of its consequences…

For the purpose of forming a movement we must reach a great audience. To do so we must ally with popular art that is having us raise critical questions. The psychological-dramas, horror-filled anime, Hollywood films and books that you’ll discover here will cover the ultra evil possibilities of surveillance and technology gone wrong. And we'll have fun with our own original stories and productions too! Share your’s with us for a chance to have it published and for a chance at being compensated for your work!

This is a news and entertainment center covering the advent of health monitoring and the tragedies of surveillance.

And art is very important because, as we will see in years to come, the better side of what Health Science is birthing, will be much more art than what’s expected from the science of medicine.

Compassion will require that health culture’s true evolution lies in seeing and feeling through the art perspective.

Our limitless souls will require us to make Life an ‘art’ in order to free and unfreeze ourselves from the heartless, limiting, calculated possibilities offered by science.  There will be an interpenetration between our biology and what mass-monitoring systems measure and determine. Hearts will fear more gravely what data assures attacks them. Minds will jump more compulsively at what data proves is clouding their thinking. As controllers of facts, they control some of our perception of truth and therefore have access into our belief-systems, which are trapped in a feedback loop of malleable subjectivity. Political opinion and psychological health could become enemies.  The thought of learning more about ourselves could become more repulsive than watching painful news or going to a hospital.
...

Only through the art perspective can we truly witness the profound icebergs that are our consciousness. Only through artistic thought can we unveil a true, complete partnership of instinct, heart and reason…only through the heart can can sky and earth, branches and roots, unite. To counter the bone chilling facts of data-analysts that are oppressing higher or deeper truths, New Age Health Systems will give rise to artists whose very love is art.
The Art Perspective will illustrate and give life, in just our imagination for now, to how future societies may choose to implement newly discovered technologies and principles of consciousness. New Age Health Systems will promise to make us responsible as a whole; to improve our communication and our lives; to heal our feelings of inadequacy; to help us build stronger communities; to become less detained by our shadows and to finally set on course for evolution the Knowledge that will be inherited by our grandchildren.  Do you think technological optimists are right? Or should we gather and resist these utopian temptations in order to return to a more natural, Earthly living—which history hath shown is already complicated enough. Whatever we choose, together we must rise.

To tech,
or not to tech,
That is the question…
